WELCOME TO THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS “APPLIED SPORTS SCIENCES” 

Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Academic Board of the National Sports Academy “Vassil Levski” and on my behalf, I would like to invite you to participate in the III International Scientific Congress “Applied Sports Sciences”, which traditionally brings together experts, practitioners, and young researchers in the field of sport and sports science.
For us, hosting this event is both – great honor and responsibility towards traditions and the sustainable development of research in all areas of sport. This congress is the culmination of events devoted to our university’s 80th anniversary, which has proven its leadership position in sports education and science.
In times of global crisis, the academic society worldwide has been forced to adapt sport, sports science, and methodologies to the new reality, looking for and finding the right results in a short period to be useful for the development of the sport. I believe that again the Congress will give a floor to the participants to present their work, to share their experience, and enhance their professional networks, which will contribute to quality implementations in sports practice.

In my capacity as Chair of the International Scientific Congress „Applied Sports Sciences”. I would like to welcome you as participants in the congress event – 2022. I sincerely hope that this congress will continue, thanks to all of you, who are already part of a distinct scientific community in sports science, to fulfill the duties of a modern scientific and research forum through presentations of significant research works, hypotheses and achievements in the most visible and accessible form.I also hope to give the floor to new and young colleagues who will share their ideas at this international event.
This year we will have the opportunity to compare our work with most interesting expert statements in various areas of sport presented by key lecturers at the congress.We will have the opportunity to discuss commonly the opportunities and perspectives of regional sports sciences.
